Vicki Maestas

My name is Vicki Maestas. I have been married for 33 years to my husband Robert. We have three grown children.  We have two twin grandchildren whom are a great part of our lives each and every day. We have two dogs (China and Snow). Our daughter, Chelsea works with me full time during the summer and three days a week while attending college at Metropolitan State University of Denver. I also attend at the University of Northern Colorado during the evening to finish my BA Early Childhood Education.

 

I have been in the Early Childhood profession since 1992. I started as an infant  assistant and  worked my way up to Director qualified with the State of Colorado. I directed 10 years, before I made a career change. I Kin foster my grandchildren for about two years. After that, I open up my own child care in our home.

 

Nana's Child Care & Preschool has been state licensed since 2005. I held a  regular child care license at first, then changed to large family child care license in 2008.  I have served on the Adams County Association of Family Child Care as their Education Coordinator,Vice President,Treasurer from 2007-2010. In 2012, I became  an instructor (Expanding Quality for Infants and Toddlers) with the Department of Education for "The Early Childhood Partnership of Adams County".

Chelsea Maestas

I have been working with my mom since 2010 after graduating high school. I attend Metropolitan State Unversity of Denver full time. I'm persuding a  career in criminal justice.
